 HYATT REGENCY NEWPORT, RHODES ISLAND, USA membuka kesempatan kepada alumni STP Bandung untuk bekerja dengan visa H2B (temporary working visa) pada summer seasons (periode 01 Maret 09 s.d 15 November 09).

 Saat ini, delegasi STP Bandung, yang diwakili oleh 5 (lima) orang, termasuk Kepala Prodec, sedang berada di Bali untuk diaudit oleh Mr Antonio Carles Martinez dari United Nation World Tourism Organization (UN-WTO) dalam rangka mendapatkan sertifikasi TedQual - Tourism Education Quality.
Sertifikasi dari UN-WTO akan menjadi pengakuan internasional bagi kualitas STP Bandung dan menjadi hal yang sangat penting karena pencapaian visi STP Bandung untuk lebih meng-global sudah sangat dekat untuk dicapai.
Sertifikasi ini juga menjadi ukuran kualitas proses belajar mengajar di STP Bandung yang telah menggunakan standar internasional dalam setiap aspeknya.

 Holland America Line Inc, is a premium cruise line now opening opportunities for STP Bandung's graduates who are willing to grow and have a wonderful experience at the sea. Recruitment will be held at STP Bandung in the mid of November. Position available :
1. Assistant Steward Lido (ASL) : STP Bandung's alumni with at least 6 months experience on the job training as restaurant waiter at hotel. Fresh gradudates are strongly encourage to apply.
2. Housekeeping - General Purpose Attendant (HKL) : STP Bandung's alumni with at least 6 months experience on the job training as housekeeping attendant at hotel. Fresh gradudates and female candiadtes are strongly encourage to apply.
